About Soul Exposure

Hi,

I'm David Duncan...  or 'Dave'.

I am Soul Exposure Photography.

Originally from TO, I migrated to Calgary in 1997. Occasionally going back to TO to shoot a few weddings, I've put my focus on shooting weddings in Calgary and now Costa Rica as well.

Photographing people is my passion. I love people and their uniqueness. I appreciate fashion and when people go out on a limb to make a statement.

I thought my life was over when I got married almost 10 years ago, however, I now have 3 full time models who I can practice new imaging techniques on. You will see a few photos of my hot wife and 2 kids throughout my galleries.

Robyn, my wife, is my biggest fan. She also helps me occasionally with Soul Exposure, editing important emails, running errands for me, and assisting me occasionally with photo shoots when we can book our life-saving nanny, Danielle, to take care of the kids.

If Robyn is unavailable, I have a list of other photographers throughout Calgary that assist me when I shoot weddings. I've found many young creative artist through teaching photography at UofC that I try to keep in contact with to see how their careers are evolving.

Calgary is a great place, however, after this last dragged-out winter, Robyn and I have decided to put more focus on destination weddings. Our goal is to be shooting in Costa Rica through the months of January and February. So ... if your considering a local or destination wedding, whether in CR, Mexico, Jamaica, or anywhere else on planet Earth, let us know.

I've had awesome opportunities to shoot weddings everywhere, including Amsterdam, NYC, Costa Rica, Toronto, Tofino, Washington, and, of course, this great sprawling city of Calgary.
